AFAMOUR partners showcase their most innovative products at TECMA Fair

The International Fair of Urbanism and Environment will have the participation of 13 companies of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Urban Furniture and Playgrounds that share their novelties in the creation of playgrounds, training areas and street furniture

The appointment, which is celebrated of the 14 to the 16 June at IFEMA Madrid, coincides with the fifth edition of the Forum of the Cities of Madrid, where the president of AFAMOUR will intervene to underline the importance of rethinking the city from the perspective of children and advancing in criteria of circularity, proximity and sustainability

The Spanish Association of manufacturers of street furniture and playgrounds (AFAMOUR) will be present at the International Fair of Urbanism and Environment (TECMA), which is celebrated of the 14 to the 16 June at the IFEMA Madrid fairgrounds. In this quote, Afamour will announce the news of its associates, focused on more innovative and efficient products, through different public exhibition spaces.

A total of 12 companies linked to AFAMOUR such as Industrias Agapito, Aes XXI, Urban Environment, Kompan, Myparque, Mobipark, Isaba, Huck, Sap, Paidiki, Avant and Sanpe Ingenieria will show in a showroom the commitment to an urban future that faces environmental challenges with elements designed to reduce the carbon footprint, that promotes the development and learning of children, and that improves people's well-being. Three commitments aligned with the spirit of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Street Furniture and Playgrounds, that ensures to maintain product quality standards in the sector.

In addition, the company Benito Novatilu, AFAMOUR partner, will exhibit its products at TECMA, a few meters from the showroom of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Urban Furniture and Playgrounds, and in an area close to the stands of the Forum of Cities.

The International Fair of Urbanism and Environment, which is constituted as a space to exchange good practices, knowledge and real experiences in the day to day of those responsible for cities, brings together a total of 111 direct exhibitors, 96 companies represented, 55 countries of visitors and 27 exhibitor countries.

The President of AFAMOUR, present at the Miren Jiménez Cities Forum, president of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Urban Furniture and Playgrounds, will participate in the V edition of the Forum of the Cities of Madrid "Natural territories", diverse and habitable".

The president of AFAMOUR will share dialogue, Thursday 16 of June from the 10.30 hours, with institutional managers and experts in urbanism in a space entitled "The diverse city that cares, integrates and welcomes visions from childhood, ageing, gender urbanism and social policies".

In this talk, Miren Jiménez will make visible the experience of AFAMOUR and its partners in outstanding areas such as the playability of cities, the correct design of children's games and sustainability.

In addition, the president of AFAMOUR will focus on the importance of rethinking the city from the perspective of children to advance in criteria of circularity, proximity and participation. And in that model, the role of green areas along with that of playgrounds and street furniture, is fundamental in the challenge of recovering children's life abroad in urban space, as an indicator of socialization and inclusion. It will also explain how children's play in public space favors a healthy growth of children and will underline the need to reduce the carbon footprint through different actions. A goal, that of reduction, which the European institutions have set in the 55% for 2030 on the continent.

The president of AFAMOUR will be one of the most 200 speakers participating in the Cities Forum, that has sessions, the presence of 60 cities and more than 1.500 present.

In this talk, Jiménez will make visible the experience of AFAMOUR and its partners in prominent areas such as the gameplay of cities, the correct design of children's games and accessibility to these spaces.

In addition, the president of AFAMOUR will focus on the importance of using recyclable products for the development of urban furniture, playgrounds and training areas. It will also explain how children's games intervene in children's growth and underline the need to reduce the carbon footprint through different actions; a goal, that of reduction, which the European institutions have set in the 55% for 2030 on the continent.

More than 260 speakers at the V Forum of the Cities of Madrid

The V edition of the Forum of the Cities of Madrid, organized by IFEMA Madrid, will have the interventions of more than 260 Speakers. The program presents a total of 50 round tables included in 24 thematic sessions and four axes of debate: "Urban planning", "Renaturalization", "Cities to inhabit" and "Circular economy". In addition, the financing of urban projects, people's quality of life and the exchange of good practices are other major lines that will be present, cross-cuttingly, throughout the program.

As for the origin of the participants, the V Forum of the Cities of Madrid will bring together representatives of more than 70 Spanish cities, Portuguese and Ibero-American, as well as experts in different areas of city management.

This meeting is part of the Sustainable Environmental Solutions Forum (FSMS) that connects in visions and themes with the products and services of the exhibitors of the edition of the International Fair of Urbanism and the Environment, TECMA, and the International Fair of Recovery and Recycling, SRR.
